One of the more affluent neighborhoods in Kailua due to the larger sized lots and generally larger homes.  Its close proximity to world famous Kailua Beach is also attractive.  Portionsof the neighborhood are on the ocean and prices can run upwards of $3M and other portions of the neighborhood back up to the Marine Base where there is a series of ancient fish holding ponds (loko i'a (fishpond), that insure no one (including the military) will build anything behind you.     On occassion homes under $1M may be found if you are willing to do a little work on them.
